In the spring of 2022, I spent two months as volunteer at the Long Point Bird Observatory. Most of the time I was part of the banding crew at the Tip.
The activities included counting and banding migratory birds and station maintenance. It was an incredible place to watch the progression of the bird migration. I consider Long Point Bird Observatory the premier place to experience spring bird migration in Ontario.
